The library is a welcoming space where students can read, borrow books, listen to visiting presenters, take part in co-curricular activities – such as chess club, Choral Speaking, and Mini Vinnies – or spill out into the adjoining Makerspace to create, discuss, and tinker.
Students and staff have access to an extensive range of non-fiction and reference materials, as well as an extensive fiction collection, from the latest Andy Griffiths titles to old favourites and classics. Students can search the library catalogue at school and off-site.
Mrs Newman, our Library Officer, has an amazing knowledge of books and is always willing to help students choose a fantastic read! She has some great recommendations for every age!
Choral Speaking Club
The Choral Speaking Club is open to students in years 3 to 6. The students meet once a week to listen to traditional and modern poetry, and to recite poetry, prose and dramatic works as an ensemble. The club performs at school assemblies, the Art Show, the Christmas concert, and at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival.
